Safari Living hosted Spanish Designer Alvaro Catalán de Ocón on Monday 10th August 2015 as he presented his International respected and awarded lighting project, PET Lamp.The Project Agency were appointed to manage the publicity and launch campaign for this important project. 

Conceived in 2011 in Spain, the environmentally conscious PET lamp is made using ancient artisan textile traditions. Each lamp is unique, from the colour, pattern and cord selected. The idea to design the PET Lamp grew from a project, which sought to resolve the issue of plastic waste contaminating the Colombian Amazon. Thus converting the plastic bottle into an object with a short and specific lifespan into a product enriched by the cosmogony of the local culture.

In line with Safari Living’s vision and commitment to presenting a thoughtfully curated collection of interior textiles, homewares and furnishings by emerging and established local and International designers this campaign enabled The Project Agency to garner attention and visibilty for not only the PET Lamp project but Safari Living.
