The Woodsfolk, a family store is nestled in a quiet leafy strip in Melbourne's south, Hawthorn. Sitting beautifully in a corner federation style brick building, its attention to detail has quickly set this store apart from others. An internal distressed brick wall features a hand painted logo created by US design group, Stitch and Co (hand painted by the in house illustrator), the window logo has been created by artist Ray Penderson who is respected for beautiful hand guiding and the stores internal fit out is minimalist to allow the product to really shine.

Headed up by Amber Clohesy (who also operates the successful wholesale business, Down to The Woods) Amber has been a stylist and long dreamed of a physical bricks and mortar store, to connect with clients and to be able to source products she loved whilst providing old-school customer service.
The Woodsfolk, a family store will stock homewares, accessories, paper product and even a few things for the family pet. The common thread is things that are beautiful and practical. They approach this from both a luxury angle with true artisan products through to beautiful things that are not price sensitive. It's about being able to splurge on something special but also being able to discover something completely affordable that might be perfect for a little gift. The product is sourced from lots of talented locals right through to finds that Amber has unearthed while on trips to international trade shows and makers in far away places like Nepal.
